Project Description:
Demos is a national organization working on issues that matter to us all. From economic inequality to voting rights, they produce some of the best materials and knowledge available on the subjects they cover. In partnership with Biro Creative, we worked with Demos to plan, design, develop, test, and launch their beautiful new site. In the end, it all came together to produce a site that makes the wealth of information that Demos produces easy and intuitive to navigate.
Some highlights:
- The Blog pulls in posts from Demos’ blog site, Policy Shop
- There is a powerful publications and books search feature, allowing a visitor to find publications or books on any issue Demos works on, sorted by date or author. See http://www.demos.org/publications and http://www.demos.org/books
- Data Bytes are mechanisms that draw out powerful information in the form of infographics, charts, tables, etc. which can make complex issues easy to understand and even share (via embed code). http://www.demos.org/data-byte/number-donors-responsible-majority-itemized-super-pac-fundraising-individuals
