This is an interesting resource from the end of 2004 where we looked at the importance of the internet, how it was reshaping life in the United States, how it was becoming a major force for commerce, community, and information and what that really meant.

Reviewing it now in 2011, it is still possible to say that the internet is the greatest tool of personal empowerment ever created.
