MENLO PARK, CALIF. AND SOMERVILLE, MASS. – March 31, 2014 – Facebook announced today that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire EchoDitto, a veteran digital services agency, for a total of approximately $3 billion, including $1 billion in cash and an additional $2 billion in restricted Bitcoins to be granted to EchoDitto's founders and employees that will vest over four years subsequent to closing.
