Today we’re spending some time with the Facebook team for a live chat on the topic of marketing stats, then we’ve got a huge list of conferences you should be considering this year. Something for everyone this beautiful Friday morning.
Staring at 10am PST the Facebook Marketing channel is going to be livestreaming a webinar of performance marketing stats. While this livestream isn’t specifically for the nonprofit sector, there are sure to be lessons for all of us. It’ll be a live Q&A, and is probably a really great thing to tune in to this afternoon. If you haven’t already “liked” the Facebook Marketing page on Facebook, you really ought to. The team there offers some valuable insights nearly every day.
Ok, so you are probably already attending conferences like NTC and Netroots Nation. There is even a chance you’ve been lucky enough to get to Personal Democracy Forum too. If you dig a little deeper you’ll see that there is whole world of other conferences that offer more niche topics like content management and creation or interactive design. I really like going to these non-nonprofit conferences when I can, because business is usually driving a lot of innovation. You’ll learn about some cool services and hear some great case studies that you can apply and adapt to fit your needs. Check out this great list from Mashable that covers over 50 conferences, and adjust your conference budget accordingly.
That’s it for this week! Have an awesome weekend away from the screen.
