World Trade Center Memorial Foundation

There are few things that have touched as many lives as the events of September 11th, 2001. The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation (now known as the National September 11 Memorial & Museum) engaged EchoDitto to help support the transition to a new website platform as well as create online campaigns to build support for the Memorial, "Reflecting Absence," and the Memorial Museum.

In November, 2005, we launched a petition to ask the United States Postal Service to issue a commemorative stamp for the opening of the Memorial in 2009.

In addition to helping manage content and design for the Foundation’s website, we have also provided online communications, fundraising and technical strategy and support.

From growing their email list, to engaging with relevant local, national and international online communities, EchoDitto has helped spread the word about the Foundation and attract new supporters. We’ve also worked with the organization to showcase artists and acquisitions that will eventually be part of the Memorial Museum at Ground Zero.

Mission Statement of the Memorial

Remember and honor the thousands of innocent men, women, and children murdered by terrorists in the horrific attacks of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001.

Respect this place made sacred through tragic loss.

Recognize the endurance of those who survived, the courage of those who risked their lives to save others, and the compassion of all who supported us in our darkest hours.

May the lives remembered, the deeds recognized, and the spirit reawakened be eternal beacons, which reaffirm respect for life, strengthen our resolve to preserve freedom, and inspire an end to hatred, ignorance and intolerance.
